A miracle is a change of consciousness
French sculptor Rodin once said, the world lacks not beauty, but the eyes that can see it.
The same is true for miracles.
Miracles happen every day, no less than in the first century AD. But to recognize them, one needs to open their consciousness.
In that sense, the real miracle is not what happened, but the rise/opening of consciousness that recognizes what’s been happening all the time.
God tries to help us all the time, through people, books, songs, movies, music, doctors, beggars, teachers, children, pets, plants, signs, “bad things,” “accidents,” etc. Have we noticed?
A nice smile, a friendly gesture, a sincere reminder, a warning dream, a song on the radio, a sign on a truck, a butterfly in the garden… each can be the miracle we need at that moment. All we need is to have the awareness to appreciate it.
I know there are always tons of the skeptics out there. That’s not a bad thing. They provide the necessary balance to blind credulity.
Everything in the universe serves.
The late Vogue astrology writer Athena Star once said, for those who believe, no proof is needed; and for those who don’t, no amount of proof will convince them. Very true.
