Emotional Freedom for Conscious Living
June 6, 2012, 7:00 pm

Recent studies have shown that over 95% of health problems are due to emotional issues. Almost 100% of emotions stem from perception. Changing perceptions changes emotions and heals the body, mind and soul. This, however, is easier said than done. In this talk human behavior specialist Andi Shi will discuss some powerful concepts, principles, mechanisms and practical techniques that can be used to effectively dissolve any current or past emotional issues that have been running your life, from anger and resentment to severe abuse and trauma. Application of these principles and techniques is key to emotional freedom, happiness and living a conscious, meaningful and love-filed life.

Staying in Balance When Times are Difficult
May 6, 2012, 10:30 am
19 Yorkville Avenue, Toronto

The key to staying in balance is acceptance. Resistance is the source of all misery. Our attitude, in spite of any circumstances, determines whether we are happy or sad, whether we are full of love or full of fear. It’s natural to strive for what we want. But to stay in balance, especially when times are difficult, it’s far more important to want what we have.

Enlightened Global Citizen
Engaging Hearts and Minds: An International Conference on Global Citizenship Education
April 16, 2012, 1:00 pm
Delta Toronto East
2035 Kennedy Road, Toronto

Equity and social justice start at the heart. The enlightened global citizen is the building block of a just society and equitable world. The enlightened global citizen is an awakened soul who, with a great sense of mission, an expanded vision and unshakable determination, takes persistent action to bring light, love and positive changes to her local and global communities. How do we cultivate such citizenship? How do we transcend injustice and heal broken hearts, restore damaged souls and transform troubled lives into enlightened global citizens? Mr. Shi answers these questions from a uniquely spiritual perspective with both insight and eloquence.

Graceful Living – A Key to Happiness
March 24, 2012
19 Yorkville Avenue, Toronto

There are many keys to happiness. Gracefulness is the quality that summaries all, as our state of grace is our state of consciousness, and our state of consciousness determines how happy we are.  We can all be graceful when others recognize and support our high values and our view points. It’s when our values and view points are challenged that our state of grace is really tested. This talk will use real life stories to illustrate how we can maintain our state of grace in the face of challenge.

Whence do I come? Whither do I go? Who am I? Why am I here? These four ontological questions have fascinated spiritual seekers, philosophers and scientists alike for ages. How did it all begin? What got the universe and us here? What laws govern the universe and our life besides the law of gravity? Find out answers to these questions and more. This talk will incorporate science, philosophy and spirituality to present a framework of cosmology, creation, evolution, spiritual hierarchy and spiritual laws, and how to apply this knowledge to our daily life, particularly to the healing of our heart, our emotions, our body, our relationships and our society.
